1999 May 15 -  this occurred at the Humfrey Rooms - Castilian Terrace - Northampton - UK with an attendance of ~60 of the UK's keenest observers, opticians and telescope makers. These are a few of my pics from the day.

Amongst the many speakers Stuart Cooper described his laser collimators and beautifully crafted Crayford focusers, Tom Boles his robotic mount for SNe patrols and pro optician Jim Hysom on the new 36-inch Cambridge Ob mirror. Richard Miles demoed photometry software via the video projector and Section Director Bob Neville did likewise on computer-aided mirror testing.
